so, they shipped more than predicted, yet still they couldn't deliver the eee to germany before christmas, as promised. i'm not being ironic, there must be something i've misunderstood.

[...] looks like the Eee PC is definitely on target for the expectations it already had so far. Certainly furthering availability around the world [...]

I just went to Citrus Micro web site, they have the 4G selling for $387.99 and the 4G surf selling for $339.95. I called them to see if correct, said yes and that they just have the pearl white ones in stock right now.

I have beautiful white 4G
one in Poland, in a small location near Poznan. I intend to put a 16 G sdhc
card in and wonder how it will work with Windows XT on it. Does anybody have an experience with booting Windows from such a card? Thanks in advance.

you won't see windows with a different GUI simple because the code isn't open for one to be made and MS won't spend the time or money on such a thing....and that's not Zealot talk...just straight up truth.

I spoke to one of the distributors I use at work , trying to get a better price on the EEE, and he said his company wouldn't get any until Jan-ish...and something about shady ASUS policies :)

and US companies will have to first realize that there is a world out there before they can plan on sending stuff to such places...and if it's anything like Ms. South Carolina...that could be a problem, and like, such as.

Apparently the success of the Eee PC exceeds all expectations worldwide and I am sure Asus is producing and shipping at top capacity. There are simply not more units available for resellers.

Here in the Netherlands the Eee PC will not be available at all before, at the earliest, next March.

The main problem with
the EEE is trying to get
one in AUSTRALIA

Seeing some articles
by Australian news
websites are reporting
Myers is stocked with
the demand and they
cant keep up , yet
the same thing happened in TW and USA

When are these companys going to wake up and release more stock globaly

Same issue with the WII
in xmas 2007 not enough stock in Australia and probly other countries

Other from that the EEE is a great product and it will be interesting if Windows and other operating systems gets an simular interface simular to the EEE with its tabs instead of menus .

Asus RELEASE MORE STOCK!
