A semi-mysterious picture has shown up on vr-zone.com which claims to show an ASUS Eee PC with a 8.9″ screen. You can see Johnny Shih on the right, but the photo is in too low resolution to see the laptop in detail.
Personally, I think it looks a little too big to be an Eee PC. It looks a little more like the upcoming ASUS U2, but I could be wrong. More discussion can be seen here.

Let’s hope its the same size because it looks really nice.
Definitely looks too big… the laptop is much more than two hands’ length in width, when you look at the man holding it. The form factor also does not match the EEE, I would expect the mousepad clicker to be evident in the front, but it is not. My impression is that the 8.9″ model will have the same form/chasis, just a larger screen… so the fact that this laptop does not match the EEE at all makes me doubt it is truly the 8.9″ model.
No. I’m telling you “Honey (in HR), I shrunk the CEOs”
No, that is defineatly the upcoming 11.1″ U2 model, premium model at a premium cost.
it could be an eee pc hold by tiny ppl, imagine they are 12-13 year old kids.
damn why arent they featuring larger screens, I want one but not less than a 8.9″ screen :S
In case you haven’t seen them before, pics here of 8″ and 8.9″ next to existing 7″

Er, no.
The big one at the back is a MacBook, and the 8″ is some pre-production sample, predating the 7″ one, before they’d decided for sure what size screen to go with.
oh goodie goodie goodie… i love to read people with nothing to do …. more more… oh, I like the album too
I generally don’t like U2 but this is a very good version of an absolutely perfect song
