According to Digitimes, ASUS has begun to order flash storage controllers from Phison Electronics for the Eee PC. Previously, Silicon Motion was the sole supplier of the controllers. You can read more here.

its about time since silicon cant keep up with the demand….
I just hope the quality of the product remains the same whilst the cost might be driven down due to supplier competition.

yep, thats what i was thinking too
does this mean that the PC8G that I ordered in Jan will be delivered soon or will I have to wait until April?
