they said that had one (allowing them to put the in stock sign up) that was sold within an hour and the main batch is due in 2 weeks time…….

Down under our wholesaler says they are available on 18 May. RRP is AUD$649. At present available in Black & White, Linux with 20G HD so far but the others should be out really soon after that.
Will ASUS be offering a 8.9″ screen BASIC SURF MODEL? That’s what I’m wanting and waiting for…
Probably not. The present EeePC 900 is the ‘basic’ 900 model.
