Asus have revealed their latest entry into the Eee series codenamed the “Eee PC Shell”. The Eee PC Shell aka 1008HA aims to be the thinnest and lightest netbook in the ten inch Eee PC range. It comes with all the usual great features we have come to expect Asus to implement in the Eee PC series but also claims to offer a much improved keyboard. It also boasts a mere one inch thick casing.
The default keyboard brought with it much debate and discussion upon release of the 701 which users seem to either love, hate or replace with an entirely different one. Unfortunately, we may have to wait till June before it is officially released to find out more, though it was spotted at the FCC and showcased at CeBIT in March, according to DigiTimes, for those lucky enough to attend.
It carries a price tag of £359 or approximately US$523.
