by martin on April 26, 2009

Hot on the heals of our last announcement regarding the Eee PC 1000HA regarding the new extended battery life technology called the Super Hybrid Engine is the news of an all new keyboard accompanying a recent update to the Eee PC 1000HA model.

The new chiclet-style keyboard is an improvement over the last version by offering better comfort and separation between the keys which will be hailed by touch typists everywhere. The keyboard is said to be 92% the size of a full keyboard and can already be found on the Eee PC 1000HE which was named Editor’s choice by several reviewers including Computer Shopper, Laptop Magazine and PC World Magazine.

This news, hand in hand with the Super Hybrid Engine allowing up to 7 hours of constant use, is sure to have many Eee PC fans anxious awaiting their chance to try it out.

The Asus Eee PC 1000HA is available right now from leading retailers and distributors and carries a suggested retail price of USD$349.
