The latest from the Asus line, the Eee PC 1008HA Seashell, was recently released in the U.K on the 15th of May and only just days ago released in the U.S., is now more widely available for purchase. Even Amazon now have it listed as being in stock.
The general consensus seems to be, that it is a really decent netbook. It’s slim design, hidden ports and thin LED screen are adding up to a great product, allowing most fans to overlook it’s slightly higher price and the need for a VGA dongle should you wish to connect it to an external display. The keyboard is also a component which gets a fair share of scrutiny, and many users should be happy that it is approximately 92% the size of a normal standard keyboard.
Battery life under tests indicate that that most users should expect between six and six and a half hours between charges.
The Asus Eee PC 1008HA Seashell netbook is quickly turning into an interesting release for Asus.
