Two new upcoming releases from Asus Eee are the Eee PC 1101HA and a new Snapdragon-based processor netbook.
The Asus Eee PC 1101HA will feature an Intel Atom Z520 or Z530 processor, an 11.6 inch display operating at 1366×768 resolution and should run for up to eleven hours between charges. The netbook should resemble the Asus Eee 1008HA Seashell PC with regards to it’s style and design.
The next new netbook, which was shown at Computex in Taiwan, is very unique in that it carries a whole different style of computing. It is similar in that it looks like the Asus Eee 1008A Seashell PC as well, but will actually come with a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of the usual Intel Atom, and will come default with the Android operating system from Google.
The Snapdragon processor will feature hardware acceleration for 720p video, and the netbook itself will come with an embedded GPS and 3G modem. A special feature for this particular netbook is that even while in suspend mode, you will still be able to receive your emails, instant message notifications and other alerts.
