As the release of the Asus Eee PC T91 slowly propagates around the world, many who haven’t received it yet are anxious for news on when it might arrive. Originally, there was another delay keeping the T91 from hitting U.K. shores, but apparently that is gone and they should be getting it real soon now. That’s right, unbelievably soon.
After many delays, including later May/early June and then early July, then late July and the last bit of news was “end of August”, it is finally expected to reach the anxiously awaiting arms of Eee fans next week.
Even Amazon UK is listing it, but there is a slight difference this time; a lower price. Eee fans in the U.K. were originally expecting to pay £449.00 in the beginning, but now the price has been dropped to £409.00. Other UK online retailers should also be offering it in stock by then and hopefully with plenty of them. After all, Asus are watching the T91 sales like a hawk to determine their viability for the T91A and the T91Go.
So to those Eee fans in the U.K., keep us posted on progress next week and let us know if Asus can deliver as expected.
