Asus will soon be letting their much anticipated multi-touch touch screen netbook into the wild for everyone to see and play with. It is powered by a 1.33Ghz processor, comes with 1GB of system memory (which can be upgraded to 2GB), features 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a battery with up to 5 hours between charges and will show all of its glory on a 8.9 inch screen which can be folded over when put into tablet mode.
There are three things that distinguish it from the earlier model; The touch screen supports multitouch gestures, it is bundled with Windows 7 Home Premium and the SSD drive has been upgraded from 16GB to 32GB. It will also come with the Asus Eee Storage offer of 500GB of free online storage.
It can be pre-ordered through amazon for just $549 and is looking to be a very exciting little machine.

Any estimates on the release date? This month? next month? Hopefully not any longer than that or the suspense might kill me.
The only thing that would make this news better is that there’s a version with the TV tuner available…..
Looks like Amazon.com has it In Stock now!
Can’t wait until it comes to Canada.
Its nice, but I thought there was going to be a T91 with 3G?….
joe, shurcool is correct. The T91Go (for “on-the-go” [internet access], I presume) is the one with 3G.
joe,
I think that may have been the supposed T91A or T91Go model.
I think “NET” books without 3g is unacceptable. I thought we were going to see alot more when the 901 GO came out. 3G tech doesn’t cost much now so no reason not to have it internal.
I want to buy a new netbook that has 3G. I have the 901 and dont want to buy the 901 GO for such a minor upgrade.
Mod it yourself. There’s probably a tutorial somewhere.
Still lousy specs.
Yea, they should really put a Core i7 in a 955 gram netbook with 5 hours of battery life. >_>
How do I buy the black t91mt? Darn you Amazon…
