ASUS has announced the Eee Tablet, a grayscale device with a sensitive touchscreen that seems to be great for digital note taking. It will cost between $199 and $299 and has 10 hour battery life.

Other than saving a few trees, I don’t see the point of it.

Why not just buy an ebook reader … why would you want to draw on a B&W Linux based screen ?
Could have been a good device, but seriously no one wants greyscale these days…

I concur, I’m rather disappointed with the direction Asus took here.
