It’s not exactly hot news that ASUS can’t keep up with the huge demand for Eee PCs all over the world. But for the Nordic market it can have bigger consequences than in other countries. Lately April has been the month that the potential Nordic Eee PC buyers has been waiting for. That’s the month when ASUSTeK planned to launch the ASUS Eee PC in the Nordic countries.

In an article on the Danish website PCWorld.dk the Nordic ASUS press representative, Anders Haby, says that they have cancelled the planned April launch and that they have no idea when the Eee PC Nordic launch will take place. He can’t even say if or when they are planning for a new release date in these countries. One of the ASUS resellers in Norway, PS.no, has also been told the same by ASUS according to another article on the Norwegian website IDG.no.
